Sandra’s passion for travel began in her childhood, with cherished family memories of trips to Europe, Disneyland, and Mexico. She understands the value of quality time spent with loved ones. Taking the reins of Wood Travel in the summer of 2017 has been a dream come true, allowing her to help create unforgettable travel experiences for families both near and far.

Before leading the agency, Sandra was a single parent juggling two full-time roles: Owner of Wood Travel and a 911 operator in a small community. She understands the importance of hard work, staying focused in high-pressure situations, and prioritizing what matters most. A cancer survivor, Sandra has developed a quiet strength in the face of adversity. She is dedicated to living with purpose, and instills those same values in her two successful young adult children, who are thriving in their careers and communities. Outside of work, Sandra is pursuing her second degree, spending time with her loved ones (including her dogs), and occasionally fitting in a workout at the YMCA.
